Blue Ribbon Panel Child Care Event October 10
October 5, 2023The Office of Early Childhood’s (OEC) Blue Ribbon Panel on Child Care is developing a 5-year plan for an accessible, high-quality state childcare system. This plan will support families, providers, and Connecticut’s economy to make sure every child has the best educational foundation to grow, learn, and succeed.
State Representative Maria Horn and I are hosting this event and inviting Commissioner Beth Bye to attend to share the initial draft outline of the Blue Ribbon Panel on Child Care.

The OEC has hosted several public sharing sessions to give members of the public a chance to provide their feedback on the latest version of the drafted plan outline.
