IDD - The State Exchange on Employment & Disability
I was pleased to host a presentation and discussion focused on employment, disability and workforce issues with members of the IDD community. We explored challenges, opportunities, and policy solutions that can strengthen disability employment outcomes and support a future‑ready workforce across Connecticut.
The State Exchange on Employment & Disability (SEED) is an initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy that provides technical assistance to state policymakers to develop and promote policies and share best practices that advance the employment of people with disabilities while strengthening local economies.
