Recently, the State Bond Commission approved numerous projects in Hartford, but I want to highlight two that were funded for organizations that are doing great work in our district.

The first is the Keney Park Sustainability Project, Inc., which is receiving a $250,000 North End Food Hub Planning Grant. This funding will support planning and pre-development activities for a food hub serving North End residents.  

The second is Rebuilding Together Hartford, which received $1,980,000 for National Rebuilding Day/Critical Home Repairs to fund a home repair and improvement program to provide essential repairs and improvements to rehabilitate homes in Hartford neighborhoods such as Clay Arsenal and the North End.
