If you or someone you know needs assistance to apply for the Child Tax Credit, I will be joining Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TCCCA) TOMORROW - Thursday, July 28 at 6pm - at the New London Public Library - Community Room.

Those who are experiencing a mental health crisis no longer need to remember 1-800-273-8255 or wait hours for help. They can now call or text the 988 National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, to connect with mental health professionals who are trained to respond to these emergencies.

Please join me and the Thomas Valley Council for Community Action, next Monday, July 18 at 5:30pm at the New London Public Library Community Room if you need help signing up for the $250 Child Tax Credit.

This past session, we extended the eligibility for the PACT free community college program to part-time students and are encouraging as many students as possible to apply before the priority consideration deadline of July 15th.

A number of new laws that my colleagues and I worked on during the 2022 legislative session to implement meaningful change in our state take effect in Connecticut on July 1.

The Connecticut Summer at the Museum program is returning for the 2022 summer season starting Friday, July 1.
