2023 Constituent Survey

Connecticut faces many challenges including the economy, inflation, rising cost of living and access to quality healthcare. I’d like to know your views on all the various issues facing our state. I would like to hear your opinion on a variety of topics so I can better represent you and our community in Hartford.

I hope you will take a few minutes to complete this survey. Your voice informs the decisions I make as your State Representative throughout the session. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance to you or your family. It’s an honor to serve as your state representative and I look forward to hearing from you about ways we can improve Connecticut for all of us.

Help Make Me a Better Legislator

I’d like to hear from you about what I can to do be more accessible to you. Aside from voting at the Capitol, one of my main jobs is to make sure that I am always available for the residents of Meriden, whether it’s helping with an issue you may have with a state agency, listening to your policy ideas, or attending community events.

What should I be doing more of? Please number 1 to 7 with your top priorities, with 1 being the highest.

Lowering the Cost of Living

I believe our cost of living is rising too fast, and the middle-class needs more help. I’ve tackled this by delivering millions of additional dollars in state aid to Meriden to stabilize property taxes, enhance utility companies’ regulations to lower costs, and reduce income taxes for thousands of residents. There is still a lot more work to be done.

Where should I focus further efforts to reduce your cost of living? Please number 1 to 8 with your top priorities, with 1 being the highest.

What do you consider the top ways Connecticut can grow its economy?

THERE OUGHT TO BE A LAW…

Every so often, you might find yourself thinking, “There ought to be a law for that.” Now is your chance to suggest a bill that the legislature should consider. What are your ideas for what we should be working on at the Capitol?
