Big News for Derby Revaluation

I have some big news for our district! I and the Derby state delegation, in collaboration with Mayor Joe DiMartino, have been able to secure a one year, state-approved delay for revaluations in Derby, giving the new city administration time to get new construction onto the tax rolls before conducting revaluation.

I have some great news for our district! I've been able to secure an 87% school construction reimbursement rate for Ansonia Middle School, and inclusion of the central office at the same 87% rate as well.

I want to highlight some particularly special funding assignments for the 104th and funding related policy updates to best serve our community. Cracking Down on Street Takeovers

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives took bipartisan and unanimous action to help cities and towns regain control of their streets as we voted 148-0 to pass HB 5413 to control takeovers, which have proven to be a concern for many of our residents.
