CT Homes Press Conference
Thursday, I joined Speaker Matt Ritter (D-1st District), Rep. Jason Doucette (D-13th District), Rep. Tom Delnicki (R-14th District), and key advocates to support the Homes for CT Loan Program, a major step in addressing Connecticut’s affordable housing crisis. This bill will create a public-private partnership to provide low-cost financing for homebuilders, incentivizing the creation of affordable homes for low- to moderate-income buyers.
“Diversifying Connecticut’s housing stock must remain our top priority. The Homes for CT proposal will add another tool to incentivize the construction of new housing for our residents.”
With the demand for an increase in a diversified housing stock, this program will be another option within a larger solution to help our most cost-burdened families. Stay tuned as the bill moves through the legislature! You can check out my full remarks here: https://youtu.be/4SLhBhOlTZc
