I was honored to talk alongside Trinity College students to support an effort towards a child tax credit for the people of Connecticut. This measure will support thousands of families, making it easier for those like Maria Núñez, a single mother who spoke at the press conference, to afford the basic necessities needed to live.

Yale New Haven Health, Prospect CT, and the Office of Health Strategy (OHS) have reached an agreement on a certificate of needs application for Yale New Haven's acquisition of three CT hospitals including Rockville General Hospital.

Today, I attended a press conference with many of my House democratic colleagues to discuss our plans to provide free school meals to the students of CT.

Today, the Government Administration and Elections Committee held a public hearing which partially involved testimony on changing the state insect to the Autumn Meadowhawk dragonfly. While this sounds like a trivial measure, I was very encouraged by the many students of our Center Road School that cared about the issue enough to want to involve themselves in the political process.
