Two Local Oyster Farms Awarded State Grants
February 15, 2023I'm thrilled to see two local businesses get a major boost in the form of state funding from the Connecticut Department of Agriculture. The Farm Transition Grants were awarded to 30 projects across Connecticut to support agricultural producers.
Investing in Our Youth and Our Schools
February 10, 2023I'm proud to see that Stonington Public Schools will receive nearly $200,000 in state funding to hire and maintain mental health workers during the next three school years.
Bridge Repairs Coming to Groton Without Spending Any Town Money
February 3, 2023I am proud to announce that town of Groton taxpayers will not be paying for the necessary work on the Groton Long Point Road Bridge.
New Pedestrian & Cyclist Safety Upgrades On The Way
January 23, 2023I fully support much-needed upgrades that will improve accessibility and both pedestrian and cyclist safety. Crews will be installing traffic control signals on Route 27 in Stonington.
