After several hours of debate the House of Representatives passed HB 5054, An Act Protecting Victims Of Domestic Violence.

Volunteers and clients of Leeway in New Haven visited the capitol and thanked me for advocating for prevention, testing, and treatment for people with HIV; Good people doing good work.

On Saturday, Save the Sound hosted a celebration and volunteer event at the site of the former Pond Lily Dam on the West River. Over 70 volunteers joined forces to plant native vegetation along the river where the dam once blocked water flow and fish passage.
