Connecticut's Minimum Wage Workers can Expect Wage Increase

Hard-working families in Connecticut got a boost the other day when Gov. Lamont signed legislation to increase the state’s minimum wage. I ran for office promising to raise the minimum wage because I believe anyone working a full-time job should earn enough to support themselves and their family. This legislation is a promise I kept, and a step in the right direction to benefit about 42 percent of all workers in Danbury.
