New Haven Register: What recent changes to CT's 5-cent bottle return program mean for residents
November 30, 2022While lawmakers approved those changes in 2021, lingering supply chain issues have resulted in many retailers being unable to secure orders of new products that are stamped with the proper “return for deposit” or other markers to signify the bottles and cans are eligible for a nickel redemption, according to state Rep. Stratford Residents Receive Support Through Renters' Rebate Program
October 28, 2022I'm proud to announce that $224,508 is being distributed this week to Stratford residents who applied for the Connecticut Renters' Rebate Program. The funding, which was secured through measures passed by the Connecticut General Assembly during the 2022 legislative session, will support 403 applicants from Stratford in maintaining safe, affordable, and independent housing.
Reminder: Temporary PSLF Program Waiver Ends October 31

The federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program recognizes this choice with complete student loan cancellation after 10 years of public service work and loan payments. Teachers, nurses, government and nonprofit employees, veterans and others are among those eligible for this program.
