Perfect Score on the CTLCV Scorecard

The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) released their annual Environmental Scorecard for the 2025 session. The scorecard gives state legislators a score based on their support of environmental priorities each year. I not only received a perfect score, but was also named as an Environmental champion.

State Funding for Musicals at Richter

Great news! I was able to secure funding for Musicals at Richter, a Danbury based outdoor theater. The organization is set to receive $65,000 in state funding. Musicals at Richter, the longest running outdoor theater in the state, has provided quality and affordable fun that is appropriate for the whole family. The organization puts on a variety of shows, including musical theater performances, operettas and more. They also provide an opportunity for members of the community, especially children, to participate in and experience professional theatrical productions.

Community Program about Hate Crimes

The number of hate crimes in Connecticut has unfortunately risen over the past few years. In order to curb this troubling trend, the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP) will hold a program to discuss what hate crimes are, how to report a hate crime and introduce the community to the Hate Crimes Investigative Unit. DESPP Commissioner Ronnell Higgins will be joined by Danbury Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour, Connecticut State Police Hate Crimes Investigative Unit and Assistant State's Attorney for Judicial District of Danbury Mary-Caitlin Harding to lead this conversation.
