Protecting Yourself from Potential Scams

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) is alerting taxpayers to a new scam where scammers are impersonating the DRS by sending fraudulent text messages. The texts fraudulently claim that you are owed a tax refund from the DRS and require you to provide banking and other information in order to receive the refund.

The World Famous Clydesdales Visit Hartford

Governor Susan Bysiewicz and Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam, are hosting the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales outside the State Capitol. The Clydesdale team will be in Connecticut to showcase Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of U.S. military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and communities.
