UI Transmission Line Proposal Update
September 5, 2023I want to share a few updates with you about the UI Transmission Line proposal. Last Tuesday, the CT Siting Council had what was, at that time, scheduled to be its final evidentiary hearing on UI's proposed transmission line upgrade project. I want to thank all of the members of the community who have written directly to the Siting Council in opposition to UI's proposal. It seems that they have heard the very deep and real concerns from the community and heeded them.

United Illuminating Proposal
August 17, 2023While I sent communication on April 17th and July 21st about the CT Siting Council’s Docket #516 - United Illuminating Company’s application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the Fairfield to Congress Railroad Transmission Line 115-kV Rebuild Project, I am reaching out again about this proposed project. I do not want to be alarmist but I am asking that you read the following closely, and seriously consider submitting written testimony to the CT Siting Council in opposition to the currently proposed Docket #516.
