I am thrilled to host a Pride Flag raising ceremony at the Wethersfield Town Hall on Monday, June 4, at 4pm. I will be joined by Ken Lesser, Mayor of Wethersfield, Miss Connecticut USA Shavana Clarke who is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and other distinguished guests. Please join us in support of our LGBTQ+ community.

I joined Connecticut Foodshare and their partners, advocates, and legislative colleagues for a press conference to highlight the updated food insecurity numbers released by Feeding America and to reiterate the need for continued advocacy around funding.

Connecticut law enforcement officers have our backs every day. We owe it to them to support their families and stand by them.

Senator Fonfara, Senator Lesser, Rep Wood and I held an End of Session Town Hall in the district, to discuss the 2024 legislative session and answer constituents' questions.

Representative Wood, Senator Lesser and I will hold an End of Session Town Hall on Thursday, May 16^th at 7pm. Please join us to hear what legislation passed in the 2024 legislative session and how it will impact Wethersfield.

This is a busy week with a lot of important legislation passing the House and still more to come.

Veterans put their lives on the line for our country and, as a small way to say “thank you for your service,” the House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill that would support Veterans who have been disabled during service.

On Tuesday, April 30th, Representative Wood, Senator Fonfara and I will be hosting a coffee hour at Heirloom Market.
