The 2021 legislative session convened on Wednesday, January 6th. While certainly different than the previous opening day ceremonies that I have had the privilege of participating in during prior sessions, this year's launch of the legislative session inspired me and filled me with hope about what we are going to accomplish this year for the people of Connecticut.

A defining moment of Jason Rojas’ political career came just after he graduated from UConn. A proud East Hartford townie, Rojas wanted to serve in local government, and he was willing to start on the bottom rung.
