Celebrating a New Law Protecting Our Children

Governor Ned Lamont signed House Bill 6737, An Act Establishing the Crime of Harmful Communication with a Minor, into law. This creates a Class A Misdemeanor for any adult over the age of 25 who intentionally targets a minor through online communication for the purpose of exploiting or abusing that child.
