Join Me For Legislative Forum, Veterans Coffee Hour, and Voter Education Forum

March 12, 2024

You have a couple of opportunities to learn about the bills we are crafting and debating at the Capitol. I will be speaking with constituents about the progress we are making at two separate events in Stamford. Please join Rep. Rachel Khanna and me at a legislative town hall on Thursday, March 14 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss your goals for the current legislative session. The Legislative Preview and Forum will take place at Silver Educational Center at the Bartlett Arboretum on Brookdale Road.
The following week, I will co-host a Veterans Coffee Hour with Rep. Hubert Delany where we will break down any proposed legislation affecting our veterans. You are invited to join us on Tuesday, March 19 at 12:00 P.M. at the Veterans Resource Center at the Old Town Hall on Atlantic Street.
I will also take part in a voter education forum where an impressive group of panelists will talk about the upcoming presidential primary and the implementation of early voting in Connecticut. Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas, the Greenwich delegation, and I will dig deeper into what the no excuse absentee voting ballot question means for you.
In November, residents will be asked to vote on a constitutional amendment that would authorize the Connecticut State Legislature to provide by law for no-excuse absentee voting. A yes vote would thereby allow any voter to request a mail-in ballot. Please join us to learn more on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:00 P.M. at the Greenwich Town Hall Cone Room on Field Point Road in Greenwich.
