West Hartford Reaches Gold Level
November 8, 2024The Town of West Hartford recently achieved the highest designation from Sustainable CT’s certifications – Gold Level – as a municipality that was also designated as a recognized climate leader and collaborates with other communities on sustainability actions. West Hartford achieved Gold certification with 1,085 points, and Climate Leader Designation with 270 points.
West Hartford, along with the other towns that have received designations, will be recognized at Sustainable CT’s 2024 Annual Awards Celebration on November 13 in Old Saybrook.
Sustainable CT is independently funded, with strong support from organizations including the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation, Hampshire Foundation, Common Sense Fund, Connecticut Green Bank, and the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut.
