Dear Neighbor,

The 2024 session of the Connecticut General Assembly opened February 7 with the joy of being back representing my constituents, renewing friendships, and introducing Danburians.

I was pleased to join with the Danbury delegation as we introduced our new mayor, Roberto Alves.
I was very happy to see an old friend, Fran Collins, who represented Brookfield and was the Speaker 1973-1974.
We were delighted to be joined by the President of Western Connecticut State University, Dr. Manohar Singh.
Our work begins in earnest right away, especially in our committees. I’m Vice-chair of the Executive and Legislative Nominations committee, and a member of the Judiciary Committee, the Regulations Review Committee, and Legislative Management Committee.
