The General Election 4 days away!

I am excited to share that the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is slated to receive $7.2 million in grant funding, which it will use to build a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem and a more resilient small business landscape in Greater New Haven.

The Bristol Police Department has shared the calling hours for the fallen hero’s officers Sgt. Dustin DeMonte and Officer Alex Hamzy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire law enforcement community, and especially the loved ones of the officers killed and injured in Bristol.

I am excited to share that after continued advocacy and some conversations I was able to facilitate with our Congressional Delegation, an additional $1 Billion boost in federal funding to the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), allowing for more households to receive the benefit in the state, has been allocated as part of an emergency supplemental aid package.

This past week, Orange and the Race Brook School family lost a beloved member of their community.
