June 11, 2021The 2021 Regular Legislative Session has come to an end, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work we have been able to accomplish as we all learned new and unprecedented ways to stay connected with each of you. This session, we passed a $46.4 billion biennium budget with a $2.3 billion surplus that is strong on taxes, offers relief from the ravages of COVID-19, helps jumpstart our economy, and invests in our cities and towns, nonprofits and working families.

Danbury Delegation Lauds Passing Of Biennium Budget
June 9, 2021HARTFORD – State Representatives Bob Godfrey (110th District), Ken Gucker (138th), David Acronti (109th) and Raghib Allie-Brennan (2nd) praised passage of a balanced budget that rejected tax hikes, provided more funding for hospitals and local health departments as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, expanded workforce training and other supports to get people back to work to help jumpstart the economy and increases in Education Cost Sharing (ECS) funding for Danbury Public Schools in 2022 and '23.
