REP. LUCY DATHAN TO HOST A VIRTUAL

STATE BUDGET ROUNDTABLE

State Representative Lucy Dathan (D-Norwalk/New Canaan), vice chair of the legislature's Appropriations Committee, will host a virtual State Budget Roundtable along with chairman of the Finance, Bonding & Revenue Committee, Sean Scanlon (D-Branford/Guilford) on Wednesday, January 26th.

The roundtable forum will focus on the upcoming 2022 Legislative Session and will cover various sections of the state budget including expenses and revenue, as well as the local impact.

Rep. Dathan said, "I look forward to this informative budget discussion with my colleague, Rep. Scanlon and encourage our residents to join us. Many constituents have approached me about the budget process, and this is a great opportunity to learn more about it."

"The budget touches so many aspects of our lives, so there will be ample opportunities this session to go through our state budget and find ways to provide long-term support to low- and middle-income residents and families," said Rep. Scanlon. "I look forward to discussing this with our constituents next week, and I thank Rep. Dathan for putting this forum together."
