September 13, 2023

During the 2023 legislative session, we successfully passed several measures to enhance and support our skilled workforce and make our state more attractive to companies and new businesses.

Governor Lamont

These new initiatives, spanning across diverse sectors such as education, aviation, healthcare, and first responders, aim to attract the best talent to build a highly skilled workforce.

Public Act 23-97 is a prime example of one of the legislative measures passed. This bill plays a crucial role in promoting the growth of the professional healthcare workforce.
