Upcoming Community Meeting on Transmission Water Main Project

Dear Neighbor,

Attention Westport residents - Aquarion is preparing for a significant construction project in our community, and they want to hear from you about potential impacts to traffic.

Starting later this summer, the public water supply company will install a new water main from Hemlocks Reservoir-Fairfield to Coleytown Road-Westport as part of its long-term plan to strengthen the resiliency of the existing water system in the Fairfield County area.

A community meeting will be held tomorrow, June 24, at 6:00 p.m. at the Patterson Club, 118 Cross Highway in Fairfield. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the impact to normal traffic flow throughout the northern portions of Fairfield and Westport during the project’s construction period.
