After significant and sustained advocacy by many of you, the CT Public Utility Regulatory Authority (PURA) has required United Illuminating and Eversource to establish direct toll free phone numbers for residents to call to ask questions about vegetation management/tree trimming and pruning.

The Town of Hamden has announced the tentative sale of the old Wintergreen School Building for $16 million.

Last week, I shared the announcement from the Town of Hamden that they were repealing the town-wide mask mandate for private businesses, which took effect last Friday, February 25th.

Last night, Mayor Garrett repealed the Town of Hamden's mask mandate. The repeal took effect at 12:01AM today.

I am fortunate to report that through the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Hamden is projected to receive $24,140,337.11.
