I am co-hosting a Veterans Employment Suit Drive with Representatives Larry Butler, Michael DiGiovancarlo, and Ron Napoli on Saturday, August 28th at the West Side Middle School from 10 am to 12 pm.

The safety of our children is my top priority as your representative in Hartford. This session we passed Public Act 21-20 to strengthen the traffic safety measures of ice cream trucks in order to increase visibility to other drivers.

Today, the Connecticut State Bonding Commission approved the $82,700 bonding request for East Mountain Park. State Representative Michael DiGiovancarlo (D-Waterbury) filed the initial request for grant funding on April 25, 2021 to replace and repair the three water fountains and irrigation system in the park.

"Freshman Waterbury State Representative Mike DiGiovancarlo (D-74th) was a driving force behind that legislation. 'DiGi' as he’s known around Waterbury, is also a city police officer."

The State of Connecticut has created a one stop shop to help older people navigate state services, for everything from age-based discrimination to neglect issues.

Applications are now being accepted for Connecticut’s free community college program. The deadline for the upcoming school year is TOMORROW July 15.

Last week, Governor Ned Lamont announced the launch of the State of Connecticut’s “Rock the Shot” promotional campaign to encourage Connecticut residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by giving away pairs of tickets to concerts happening throughout the summer and fall in the state.
