August 5, 2020I hope everyone made it safely through the storm.
Thousands of Connecticut residents have been left without power due to yesterday's storm. 6,827 Eversource costumers in Windsor lost power. 3,441 costumers lost power in Windsor Locks. Click here to view an outage map of the state.
Enrollment Deadline Ticking Down
August 3, 2020Time is running out as Access Health CT deadlines approach for residents that lost health insurance due to job loss. People can enroll any time within 60 days of losing their job, but the deadline to enroll is approaching fast for those who lost their health insurance in early April.

Addressing Rising Energy Costs
July 31, 2020After hearing an outcry from customers and constituents on the recent rising energy costs, the Energy and Technology Committee and bi-partisan legislative leaders issued a communication to the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) requesting suspension of the July 1 delivery rate increase and related charges.

Absentee Voting Bill Passes House
July 23, 2020Today we took a major step toward ensuring a safe voting experience in November. The House passed, by a vote of 144-2, a bill that allows for absentee ballot voting to ensure safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.
