This week marked the opening of the 2026 Legislative Session, an exciting and meaningful time, bringing legislators together from across Connecticut to recommit ourselves to the work ahead on behalf of the communities we serve.

I attended the official launch of the Southington Outsider, our community’s new online local news source, where I presented a congratulatory citation recognizing the launch of this publication.

I was proud to kick off my Tour of Southington Businesses initiative with a visit to F&F Concrete, joined by Governor Ned Lamont and Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz.

I joined fellow legislators for a tour of the Connecticut Veterans Affairs Campus in Rocky Hill. The visit included an in-depth look at upgrades to the campus power plant, as well as visits to the residential facilities, dining services, outpatient clinic, and long-term care facility.

I had the privilege of celebrating my 44th Opening Day and 13th season as a volunteer ranger at Mount Southington.

I was grateful for the opportunity to attend The Calvanese Foundation’s Annual Veterans Thanksgiving Dinner to share a meal, greet veterans, and hear their stories.
