There's still time to apply for Connecticut's Child Tax Payments!

Those who are experiencing a mental health crisis no longer need to remember 1-800-273-8255 or wait hours for help. They can now call or text the 988 National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, to connect with mental health professionals who are trained to respond to these emergencies.

I am pleased to share ReEmployCT, a revamped and modern Connecticut Department of Labor online platform that streamlines services and facilitates unemployment and tax filing.

A number of new laws that my colleagues and I worked on during the 2022 legislative session to implement meaningful change in our state took effect in Connecticut on July 1, 2022.

June 23 marked 50 years of Title IX. Thirty-seven words allowed women to finally pursue athletic and academic opportunities at the next level, expanding gender equity nationwide for generations to come.
