2024 Legislative Survey

It’s that time again – the 2024 legislative session is here and I would like to hear back from you! This year is a “short session” which means the legislature convenes in February and adjourns in May. In a short session, with some exceptions, we generally will consider legislation related to adjustments to the current biennial budget. Connecticut faces many challenges and I’d like to know your views on all the various issues facing our state. I hope you will take a few minutes to complete this survey to help me better represent our district at the State Capitol. I always take the time to review your responses and your voice informs the decisions I make as your State Representative throughout the session.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance to you or your family. It’s an honor to serve as your State Representative and I look forward to hearing from you about ways we can improve Connecticut for all of us.

Here are a few of the bills that are being proposed right now; where do you stand?
Should Connecticut continue to adhere to the California emission standards and require all new vehicles sold beginning in 2035 to be fully electric/hybrid?
Current law requires employers with more than 50 employees to provide employees at least 5 paid sick days. Should this law be expanded to apply to all employers?
Should wine be sold in grocery stores?
Should CT lower the Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) limit for driving under the influence (DUI) from 0.08% to 0.05%?
