The 2022 legislative session kicked off on earlier today.

This Thursday, Rep. Bobby Gibson and I are hosting a conversation about redistricting. Every ten years, district lines are redrawn to reflect population shifts and changes. We will be available to talk about the process, as well as answer any questions you may have.

I am pleased to announce that I will serve as the House Chair of the Aging Committee for the upcoming 2022 session. This committee deals with all matters relating to senior citizens.

As of Monday, you can now request a “SMART Health Card QR Code,” to verify your COVID vaccination status through the Department of Public Health (DPH) website. This has been an ongoing effort to provide Connecticut residents with an electronic option to verify vaccination status.

Increasing fuel prices will present additional challenges for Connecticut residents to keep warm this winter season.
