State-wide primary elections for both Democrats and Republicans will be held August 9th. Absentee ballots are already available. You can get an application for an absentee ballot at your city or town hall in the town clerk's office or from the Secretary of the State's website Absentee Voting (ct.gov) and follow the instructions.

The summer's first heat wave is here. Access Health CT (AHCT) announced that they expanded eligibility requirements for the Covered Connecticut Program and additional benefits for those that qualify.
