Preserving Open Space
Preserving open space! I hosted a press conference with Audubon Connecticut on legislation that would allow towns to generate additional funding for acquiring, preserving and protecting open space.
Connecticut’s open space as a whole is a precious and irreplaceable resource. The state is facing increasing economic challenges and sources of funding for open space acquisition and protection are becoming increasingly threatened and hard to come by.
