Save-A-Suit

May 16, 2019

The 4th annual Save-A-Suit drive at the Capitol is May 30th from 9:00 a.m. to around 5:00 p.m.

Save-A-Suit seeks donations of professional work attire to be provided to former military and college graduates currently searching for a job or for those working in an office. The goal of the non-profit organization is to offer confidence and support for veterans looking to join the workforce. Through three previous year of donation drives at the Capitol, Save-A-Suit has been able to obtain an estimated 2,100 clothing items. Today’s press conference also served to mark the first private donation Save-A-Suit has received – a $2,500 donation from the Max Cares Foundation (the charitable group formed by the Max Restaurant Group).

Save-A-Suit donations are provided to former military and college graduates. All donations are tax-deductible. Items must be “gently used,” dry-cleaned or new.
