I spoke to News 12 Connecticut about the closure on Route 113 by Sikorsky Airport as crews install a cofferdam system to prevent intermittent flooding.

We were able to successfully get the Connecticut Department of Transportation to declare an emergency here. Crews are coming in, and they’re not only fixing it temporarily, but they’re going to fix it long-term, so it might be a little bit of an inconvenience for a few weeks.

We are hopeful the project will be done before the new year.
