Mansfield Students Join Youth Climate Strike

Mansfield Middle School students walk out of their school, protesting lack of action by governments to combat climate change.

Students gathered signs they had spent the past three weeks making signs for the march.

Legislators including state Sen. Mae Flexer and state Rep. Gregg Haddad attended.

Rep. Gregg Haddad praises Mansfield Middle School students who joined other youths around the globe to raise awareness of climate change. “Students are the most important constituency for this,” Haddad told them. “We understand that you’re going to be living in this world long after us and the decisions we’re making today will be very impactful on your lives.”
