CTDOT Informational Meeting on Gurleyville Road Bridge Replacement

Dear Neighbor,

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will host a virtual public informational meeting next Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 7:00 PM. This meeting will discuss the replacement of Bridge No. 04730 on Gurleyville Road over the Fenton River in Mansfield.

 
Meeting Details:
- Date: Tuesday, July 23, 2024
- Time: 7:00 PM
- Platforms: Zoom and YouTube Livestream
Please register for the virtual public information meeting here (registration is required to participate): Zoom registration. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to access the meeting. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the CTDOT YouTube channel, with non-English language closed captioning available. The recording will be posted immediately following the meeting on the CTDOT virtual public meetings archive.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community with detailed information about the proposed project and to allow an open discussion for any views and comments concerning the proposed improvements. A question and answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation, which will be recorded.
Project Overview:
- Location: Bridge No. 04730 carrying Gurleyville Road over Fenton River, Mansfield, CT
- Purpose: To replace the existing bridge to meet current safety standards and improve infrastructure.
- Construction Start: Spring 2027
