Additional Funding in Budget For Norwalk & New Canaan
May 6, 2026I am proud to have secured additional funding for Norwalk and New Canaan in the 2026 budget adjustments bill. We delivered additional funds to support our municipalities for education and town aid. These are important funds to provide local tax payer relief.
Support for Connecticut Veterans
April 15, 2026The House unanimously advanced House Bill 5406, The Connecticut Hero Act, and it is now heading to the Senate for consideration.
Tire Disposal Program
April 13, 2026The House recently passed legislation to strengthen Connecticut’s tire disposal program, requiring retail stores to fully participate by July 1, 2027.
Rep. Dathan & IDD Caucus Host 11TH Family Day at State Capitol
March 31, 2026HARTFORD — State Rep. Lucy Dathan (D–Norwalk/New Canaan), State Rep. Jay Case (R–Colebrook/Torrington/Winchester), State Sen. Cathy Osten (D–Sprague), and State Sen. Jason Perillo (R–Shelton), along with The Arc of Connecticut, advocates, individuals with disabilities, and their families, friends, and supporters, hosted a press conference at the State Capitol. The event kicked off the 11th Annual Arc of Connecticut/IDD Caucus Family Hearing Day at the Legislative Office Building.
