Relief is on the way for Connecticut mortgage holders economically impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The Lamont administration has come to an agreement with over 50 banks and credit unions to offer mortgage relief to state residents and businesses who continue to face hardship due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.
 

Great debate on curbing the vaping epidemic. I'm proud that the House passed this critical bill on a bipartisan basis.

The budget presentation is one of the most anticipated events at the State Capitol and Governor Lamont unveiled his Biennial Budget Address during the General Assembly Joint Session. You can read it here.

As Chair of the CT Pension Sustainability Commission charged with finding a solution to Connecticut’s biggest budgetary problem – the unfunded state pension liability, I am grateful to Forbes for an article that will contribute to raising awareness of the commission’s work.

I am very pleased to report that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the State of Connecticut was awarded a total of $30,770,000 in Clean Water and Drinking Water grants to finance community-based water infrastructure projects, such as upgrades to municipal sewage plants and public drinking water systems.

I’m honored be appointed Chair of the CT Pension Sustainability Commission and am confident that this commission will prove valuable to the state and its citizens.
