Governor Lamont announced that on May 1st, Connecticut will take its next step towards re-opening.
Beginning May 1st:
All outdoor business restrictions will be lifted
Restaurants will be allowed to serve alcohol without food
There will be no table size limit outdoors
The curfew will be pushed to 12AM
Beginning May 19th:
All remaining business restrictions will be lifted
DPH will issue guidelines for safe business operations of large events
While we take these steps towards re-opening, it is extremely important to note that indoor masking will continue throughout both phases.
This is great news for Stamford and all municipalities throughout Connecticut! Please continue to practice social distancing according to DPH guidelines in order to keep our infection rate low as we move forward in re-opening our state.
