The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) has rushed emergency aid to animal shelters in Ukraine. Amid this terrible crisis, many animals have been displaced and shelters are in dire need of assistance.

"Where there is human suffering, there is animal suffering. We cannot separate the plight of animals from the people who share their homes, communities, and the planet with them. That is why a core part of IFAW’s mission is to create a world where animals and people thrive together – and that belief in the connection between animals and people is at the heart of our response in Ukraine" - Azzedine Downes, President & CEO, IFAW
