I was invited to take part in a conversation on WNPR's Where We Live on affirmative consent. Last year, I sponsored legislation to clarify school policies about what 'consent' is and would require that affirmative consent standards be in place at all Connecticut colleges, public and private. Although we were ultimately unsuccessful at passing the legislation, I plan on reintroducing the bill in the 2016 session.
