Cracking Down on Street Takeovers

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, street takeovers have become a national issue, including here in Connecticut. This cannot become the new normal. These takeovers by the illegal use of all-terrain and other types of vehicles, pose a significant threat to public safety, endangering participants, innocent bystanders, and law enforcement officials.

Submitting Written Testimony on HB 5507

Fairfield/Brewster Corridor Plan Open House and Office Hours

The City of Bridgeport, MetroCOG, Connecticut Department of Transportation, and the Black Rock NRZ are developing a multimodal corridor transportation plan for Fairfield Avenue and Brewster Street in Black Rock. The purpose of the Corridor Plan is to reduce traffic, increase safety, and accommodate bicyclists, pedestrians, and transit users.
