This week, I met with members of the CT Food Association, had a delicious farm-to-table dinner and conversation with the Litchfield County Farm Bureau, and attended an eye-opening forum at the Legislative Office Building. Connecticut has launched its new jobs portal, jobs.ct.gov, which is aimed at assisting state residents — and those seeking to move here — in the process of finding a job.

Governor Lamont has announced that due to a weather forecast indicating that Connecticut will experience a period of extremely cold weather resulting in very low wind chill values over the next several days, he is directing the state’s severe cold weather protocol to go into effect Wednesday afternoon (1/17) and remaining in effect through noon on Monday (1/22).
