Ready to Ride the Ferry?
The Rocky Hill to Glastonbury Ferry Service, the nation's oldest continuously operating ferry service, opened for business this morning! I took the first ferry ride at 7 AM over to Glastonbury to meet State Representative Jill Barry from Glastonbury to kick off the season! For more details about the service, including the schedule, please click HERE.

Celebrate Earth Day With Me at Quarry Park on Saturday
I will be attending a Community Clean up at Quarry Park in Rocky Hill this Saturday at 10 AM. Come join me! The legislature is also discussing HB 5004 this session, read more about it below and let me know what you think.
 
Standing With Nonprofits
I was proud to stand with our favorite nonprofit service providers this week and call for increases in our budget to support them. We cannot expect them to continue to provide services if they are not properly funded.
 
Putnam Bridge Ribbon Cutting Announcement May 9th
Glastonbury Patch

Join the CT DOT, State & Local officials, and all the advocacy groups that have been waiting patiently for the Putnam Bridge Trail Connections Project to open. Join us May 9 at 1:30 PM on the Wethersfield side of the bridge (Exit 25 off I-91) for a ribbon cutting and ceremony to finally open the connection to Glastonbury.
