Several new laws passed during the 2024 legislative session will go into effect on Tuesday, October 1st.

Today, we honor the memory of those we lost on 9/11 and salute the courage of the heroes who risked everything. May we always remember their sacrifice and stand united in resilience and hope.

We are still early enough in the school year to provide a few helpful reminders about being especially careful when looking out for the students walking to and from bus stops and school bus safety in CT.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives took bipartisan and unanimous action to help cities and towns regain control of their streets as we voted 148-0 to pass HB 5413 to control takeovers, which have proven to be a concern for many of our residents. 

I wanted to reach out and remind you about two upcoming events I will be hosting on Wednesday, March 20th.
