The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will hold two public information meetings concerning the proposed Flex Lane on I-84 in Danbury.

As a reminder, the Danbury delegation is holding a town hall tomorrow, January 21, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Western Connecticut State University Midtown Student Center, Room 202 (181 White Street).

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. On this day, we remember Dr. King's dream and our duty to fulfill it. He widely advocated for the investment in Black communities, a guaranteed income, the right to decent housing, and adequate education for all. We will continue to push for progress in his memory.

Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. We're so grateful for the dedication, hard work, and personal sacrifices made by both our State Capitol Police and law enforcement officials throughout the state to keep our communities safe, day in and day out.

As holiday travel ramps up, the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is partnering with state and local law enforcement to launch an expanded impaired driving enforcement effort running now through January 1, 2026.
