Dear Neighbor,

As your representative in Hartford, I wanted to keep you updated on the latest happenings at the Capitol. Our main focus during this legislative session (which runs until June 7th) is to approve a biennial state budget. If you'd like to hear more about this, please take a moment to watch the brief video below.
WATCH: An Update from Hartford
I will keep you updated as the legislative session progresses to ensure that you're informed on what we're doing in the General Assembly.

Grant to Preserve Open Space in Pomfret
I am pleased to share with you that the Office of Governor Ned Lamont has awarded $354,120 to the Wyndham Land Trust for the Townshend Phase IV project to preserve 227 Acres on the east side of Swedetown Road and Ragged Hill Road in the Town of Pomfret.
This is the Wyndham Land Trust's fourth tract/purchase since 2019 from the Townshend Family, for a combined 1,100 acres, in the Nightingale Forest Preserve. To read the full description of the project, please click here

YMCA Camp Woodstock visit to the State House
It was great to welcom YMCA Camp Woodstock Executive Director Tony Gronski and Board Member Carey Greene to the State House today to talk about Summer Camp, the Camp Woodstock facility, and the initiatives of the YMCA.

As always, please do not hesitate to email me or call my office at (860) 240-8585 if you have any questions or to share your opinions. As your voice in Hartford, I need to hear from you to make informed decisions. I regularly post updates on the session on my social media channels (you can like my Facebook page here) and encourage you to follow them to stay updated.

Take Care,

Pat Boyd
